As a matter of fact, I am not even sure if I would have nominated him if I were the President of the Republic. I am very disappointed with some of the things that have been said about the nominee ever since President Zuma indicated that he preferred the nominee for the position of Chief Justice. The likes of Paul Hoffman have taken their time to do a "Jutastat Search" (a legal information search engine) in order to look at the number is cases that the nominee has been involved in so that they can substantiate their view that the nominee does not have sufficient experience to lead what may soon be the apex Court in SA ( www.businessday.co.za/articles/Content.aspx?id=151245 ). Prof Isamah Multitasking has become one of the more common buzzwords today and it essentially refers to the apparent simultaneous performance of two or more tasks by an individual in the work situation. Although not restricted to the workplace only, it is my belief that it is in the work environment where multitasking has its greatest potential impact. These lines are true and we happen to be celebrating women’s month this August. And the best we can do is to extend our love to the glorious women of South Africa, and to the ladies of Entrepreneruship and Business Management Department of this great university. Wao! Time flies when you are not having fun! I suppose it does feel like we only vacated yesterday. Sorry folks. Anyway, welcome back. I hope you had a restful break. I say so because 2nd semesters are like crazy times. Believe me. This is the semester that you need to work both hard and smart. On our part (lecturers), we will continue to provide the support that you need. I will be posting some interesting points for discussion on this blog. Make sure you do not miss a thing.
