Welcome back folks! I hope the holiday was rewarding. Dr Ukpere commences work in his new station, University of Johannesburg, as associate professor in the department of Industrial Psychology & People Management. We wish him well. With his departure, our dear department will be temporarily merged with Retail Management department. What this means is that Mr Venter and Mr Hermanus have been made caretakers as acting head and coordinator of our dear department respectively. During the handover, Assistant Dean, Mr Ivan van de Heever called for support for the new heads and also hinted that the decision to ‘partially’ merge the department with Retail Management department was a result of the urgency to retain the functionality of the department given Dr Ukpere’s departure.
