Another interview with one of our ‘brag’ points – Dr Thobekani Lose

Image
We were lucky to corner Dr Thobekani ‘Thobs’ Lose for a quick interview. Interestingly, he didn’t aim at Entrepreneurship because he thought it was a ‘cheap’ course.  Today, Dr Lose heads the SEDA’s Rapid Incubator at the Walter Sisulu University in Eastern Cape, South Africa. My takeaway from the interview is this quote of his: “crisis is the incubator for creativity’.  How apt can this be for a time like this when everyone is scampering for safety owing to SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19? By the way, Zandi was one of our students. In fact I regarded (and I still do) him as one of the sharpest knives in our cupboard.  Zandi is the founder/CEO of Moving Chronicles ; a logistics firm located in Cape Town, South Africa. He shared his experience of working during the Covid-19 lockdowns.
