Another interview with one of our ‘brag’ points – Dr Thobekani Lose

We were lucky to corner Dr Thobekani ‘Thobs’ Lose for a quick interview. Interestingly, he didn’t aim at Entrepreneurship because he thought it was a ‘cheap’ course.

Today, Dr Lose heads the SEDA’s Rapid Incubator at the Walter Sisulu University in Eastern Cape, South Africa. My takeaway from the interview is this quote of his: “crisis is the incubator for creativity’.

How apt can this be for a time like this when everyone is scampering for safety owing to SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19?

  1. Nice interview; I remember Thobs used to come to full-time students, asking for notes and call handouts; because he wanted to be ahead of the game. Some guys in our team end up collecting an extra class handout because Thobs will come for it. - hahaha well done my guy.
