The hypocrisy on the debate about the Chief Justice

By Mzo Tshaka Let me declare upfront that I hold no brief for either President Jacob Zuma or the Honourable Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng ("the nominee"). As a matter of fact, I am not even sure if I would have nominated him if I were the President of the Republic. I am very disappointed with some of the things that have been said about the nominee ever since President Zuma indicated that he preferred the nominee for the position of Chief Justice. The likes of Paul Hoffman have taken their time to do a "Jutastat Search" (a legal information search engine) in order to look at the number is cases that the nominee has been involved in so that they can substantiate their view that the nominee does not have sufficient experience to lead what may soon be the apex Court in SA ( www.businessday.co.za/articles/Content.aspx?id=151245 ). Filing an in-house memo to Tech Services because your browser is acting up? Making a list of the clients you&

Tribute to our lovely partners - Women of South Africa

They say behind every successful man there is a very powerful woman. You strike a woman you strike a rock . These are all powerful lines. These lines are true and we happen to be celebrating women’s month this August. And the best we can do is to extend our love to the glorious women of South Africa, and to the ladies of Entrepreneruship and Business Management Department of this great university. We adore you; we honour you. Keep on being the sweet angels you are. Often women are unappreciated so we say thank you for all you have done and wishing you so much love. “You teach a man you teach an individual, but teach a woman you teach the nation”. Enjoy the month . From the editorial team (Pictures to follow.)
