Is it possible that the US exported the Internet to Norway and the UK out of the kindness of their hearts or could there have been an ulterior motive as some sceptics say?
Computers have the capacity to store and process data. The data stored in computers can be transmitted to a multitude of users in different locations. However, no computer can do this until it is ‘networked’. When this happens, the computer then has the functionality and the capability to transmit to a multitude of users in different locations. 1. Is this true or not? Back up your answer with at least two major points. 2. What do you understand by the concept of networking?
Is it more profitable to engage in an online business than a 'brick and mortar' type? 'Brick and Mortar' is the derogatory term for 'tangible' businesses such as a doctors practice, a book store, a restaurant, a pub, dance club, etc. An online business is a business that exploits the 'mechanics of the internet to function.
